URUNGA TAKE HOME GOLD! at NSW Tourism Awards 2018



What a fantastic year it has been for Riverside Holiday Resort Urunga. 
On the 25th July 2018 we took out GOLD in the Self-contained Accommodation category at the Regional Tourism Awards held in Coffs Harbour. 
On the 22nd November 2018 we took home another GOLD in the Self-contained accommodation category at the NSW Tourism Awards held at Luna Park in Sydney.  

 The application process for these awards was immense though receiving recognition for our Urunga Resort made it all worth while. We are now very excited to be finalists at the Australian Tourism Awards and represent not only our region but also our state at the Gala Presentation  held in Launceston TAZ on 1st March 2019. We hope to do you all proud and put Urunga, the Bellingen Shire and the Coffs Coast on the map for exceptional accommodation, service and facilities.                                   

Riverside Holiday Resort were also finalists in 3 categories at the Sunny Business Awards held in Coffs Harbour on the 11th August, we entered into the following categories, Excellence in small Business, Marketing & Advertising as well as the Accommodation Hotels Clubs & Bars. We took home 1st place in the Accommodation category and feel very proud of our Resort our upgrades  and our achievements over the past few years.

Riverside Holiday Resort were also awarded the 2018 ”Ian J Cooper Award for Access & Inclusion” from the Bellingen Council. We are very proud of this award for we go over and above to cater for guests with all abilities. Our resort offers accessible & wheelchair accessible accommodation, along with swimming pool lift, baths throughout and inclusive BBQ facilities.
